    Twin and Earth Cable available in different sizes in various lengths for Twin & Earth Twin and Earth Electrical Cable is the most common cable used for domestic wiring. The Pitacs brand is the industries leading manufacturer. Each cable is available in various predefined lengths. These lengths can be selected from the drop down menu for lengths. Cable Construction The live and neutral are individually insulated and the earth is bare. The Live and Neutral are insulated in blue/brown coloured PVC insulation. The overall bundle of wires is insulated in a grey PVC outer casing. The 1.0mm, 1.5mm & 2.5mm cables have a solid cable construction whilst all cables above 4.0mm are constructed of stranded copper conductive wires. Common Cable Uses 2.5mm Twin & Earth is commonly used for ring main sockets, radial sockets, immersion heaters, boilers and plugs. Each cable is available in various custom sized lengths. The 100m length comes on full reel, lengths over 50m are likely supplied on a roll and smaller lengths are supplied hand rolled and loose.
